MY audience
We are learning to create a positive digital footprint.
We often share personal information when we are online. The people we share with could be our friends and family or people we don't know. We need to make smart decisions about what personal information we share online.

jamie duff
This week Jamie Duff came to our school with his Sprint Car. He brought a little car to push the Sprint Car. We got his autograph. Jamie’s Dad told us the car weighs 1/3rd of a normal car’s weight and that the engine goes around 160kms. Some people in our class got their hats signed. I thought his car was cool.

Week 2 - Swimming Starts
Last week we went to the pool and it was cold! When we went in the pool, we had to put our head in the water in order to be warm in the water. Then we played a game in the water, its called round the rosie and we got warmed up and we did our lesson. We had to do rocket arms and we did 1 lap of the pool.
It was great fun!

YMS Hero Message
This week in Rimu class, we did a video to represent our school HERO values.
The hero values are healthy individuals, enthusiastic learners, responsible citizens, open minded- explorers. We picked responsible citizens and being on time.
Our video shows us (Jacob M Jacob W(me) and Ian) doing a skit that we made ourselves.
It shows us doing the following things to be a Responsible citizen:
- Come to class on time
- Being ready to learn
- Transition quickly
This was a collaborative blog post by all three of us, so if you see this on another Yaldhurst blog, we did not copy each other.
You can watch the video down below.
I hope you enjoy.Thursday, February 2, 2017
