Text purpose: This text purpose is talking about the environment and how the plastic is killing the whales and the fish, and this is all from people throwing plastic in the ocean and ending up killing the whales. 

Critical literacy: What kind of language does this text use? This language that is used in this text is that,  they have been talking about how the plastic is killing the ocean and the whales. 

Hello everyone in Social Studies we have been watching a movie called Sea Spraicy this movie is all about a documentary film about the ocean and how the environment is going during, the film they were talking about how plastic is killing the fish and whales there was tones of plastic in a whales stomach.  And then there was  tones of whales on the beach this is how. All of the whales are getting killed from the plastic because people are leaving plastic in the ocean, also they are saying during the film that when people are fishing then the nets well end up dropping in to the ocean and it well end up as, a garbage patch so that is what we have been doing in social studies.

Hello, everyone last week we were reading a article about Donald Trump and to know what happened.  In the article and in the article it was telling us about the big data and how dangerous it is was in the story, also it was telling us about the election and how political communication might work in the future. Kosinski gives regular lectures on this topic all over the world big data means in essence is that everything, that we do both on online and offline and it leaves digital traces on the internet. In early 2014 Kosinski was approached by a younger assistant, professor psychology in the department called Aleksandr Kogan  so that is what happened in the article that we have read about.  So I hope you guy's well enjoy my blog post on the article what we read.  

The Treaty of Waitangi What really happened.

Text Purpose: To inform us about Treaty Waitangi.

Hi everyone in class we had to watch a film on the Treaty Waitangi and, we had to write a summery on the film we have watched. In the film the Maori people signs the treaty and then they had to translate the words, so they can say it to the English people so they understand what they are saying their were lots of arguments. And discussions on the weather after the people signs the treaty they get Tabaco and blankets so the crown wrote out the treaty in to the English words, so that is what happened in treaty of Waitangi I hope you guys we'll enjoy this blog post about the Treaty.
