Work Shop 2: Inside&Out 2020!

A- Fight - Jack fighting Julien because called Auggie a Freak.   -Teacher pulling Jack off - Mr Brown.  

-Dutch tilt used.  Shows something is not right.  

Julien looks weak& Unbelievable  

-Makes look one person smaller than the other. 

Low- Angle 

Viewer Fells- Shocked - Didn't  expect Jack reaction. Surprised, Concerned, Uneasy. 

Director-  Surprised, Sad Worried  for Jack, 

Other Technique's-  Music-Metes Atmospheres,  Mirror Slow motion- Makes more interest. 

In the film Wonder, low angle shot's were used efficiently. This is Demonstrated in the scene where Jack attacks Julien because he called Auggie a Freak. In this scene a low angle dutch tilt shot is used  to make Jack look stronger and Julien weak and vulnerable.  This makes the audience fell Socked, 

Surprised  and concerned because we didn't expect a violent reaction from Jack who has not be aggressive before this point.  The Purpose at this was to show the them of kindness as Jack finally stands up for Auggie. Combined with this is the used of quiet, Minor music and slow motion, to crate an Atmosphere and the event fell more intense.  This can be contrasted to the Nature Reserve fight scene where Auggie now shows. Kindness I standing up for Jack.

B- Fight Scene- Nature Reserve- Auggie makes friends,  high 5- and no Plague Jack,Amos& Others. They beat up& ran away from 7th Graders. 

-Wide angle, long shot- makes us fell like we are a Bystander watching an Important moment, the mentions are the Characters, not ours.

-Audience- Joyful, proud,Careful, ecstatic, Relived- Auggie finally is included has friends 

-Director  Shows Auggie is finally fitting in,  shows them importance of friendship or kindness, 

-Other Techniques- Lighting use of Shadow Timeshare   anything the boys, fells into they are all in it together.

Athletics

Hello, everyone welcome back to another blog post today I am going to show you my  Chart for Athletics. So I am going to show you it.  So for high jump Fosbury Flop. Land With your arms and your feet facing up. Land on your back. When you take off it should be on 1 foot, When you leave the ground you must spin around and use your knee to turn.  For Run up is 21 steps. Take off will be from the second marker. Land will be measured from the back foot. Land with both feet together. If you are over the second marker when you jump it is a fowl jump. So I am going to show you my chart.

Work Shop 1: Unpacking the Themes & Ideas.

Kindness- Respecting Others, look after others, Speak nicely, Include Others.

Example 1- Summer sits with August. This shows the them of kindness because summer left the kids who were saying, mean things to go and sit with August, Who looked lonely. Kindness is important to the story overall because without it Auggie will not build Confidence, make friends and fell accepted.

Example 2: Auggie shows kindness when he shares his answers with Jack, This links to the them because Auggie sees someone in need, Jack inst   even his friend yet,  but helps him anyway, This is important because it is the first step to enabling Auggie to make friends, being kind starts this friendship that will be important later in the film.

Importance of family- Through theses Relationship Auggie & Others learn the values of trust and self confidence They are less alone.
& Friendship.

Example 1: The Scene Where Miranda talks about spending Christmas with the Pullmans.

Links To Theme- Miranda is happy & Included by the Pullmans.
- She is ignored/ forgotten at home.
-She Realizes  that she misses having friends/ Family.

Important because Makes Miranda recognize what Shes lost/ Misses and see makes an Effort to Reconnect with Via and the Pullmans.

Example 2: The boys Come to rescue Jack & Auggie.
-Auggie is included, has friends and is felling Trust &  self confident.
-Ultimate Example of acceptance & Friendship, his classmates had his back without him asking.
First time they treat him as an equal,

Being kind vs Being popular- doing the right thing even when your friends don't,  Pressure you.

Example 1: Julian. Picks on Auggie in front of others, Auggie is an easy target, it makes Julian look popular when the others laugh.

Links to Theme- Julian chooses to be popular at the Expense  of others, chases to bully Auggie to seem popular.

Important because it shows choosing popular has negative outcomes. Julian Eventually loses his friends, leaves school and is unhappy  However Jack, Who chose kind, has lots of friends, is happy & doesn't get kicked out for bullying.

 - Summer When given choice between being right or being kind chose kind.

Food Testing!

                                               Title:  Extreme Food Testing: 

Aim:  What nutrients are present in different foods. 

Hypothesis: I think the complex sugar will be protein in it. I think the apple will have a positive effect on it, I think the egg will have something like Protein or  Juice in it. I think that glucose well has like sugar in it because it is made out of candy and sugar stuff. I think the milk well has like Protein in it because it is Good stuff in it.  I think that the potato will have like the protein will have in it. It might be made out of chips. I think the protein well has like hygiene in it. 

Testing, for complex sugar: 

Aim: To test if a sample of foods contain complex sugar.

Experiment: Test Tube food sample iodine solution.

Method 1: Place about 2 mill of the sample in a test tube.  

2: Add 3-5 Drops of iodine and milk. 

Res-lutes: if complex sugar,

Carbohydrates: Sugar to make energy.

Protein: Growth & Repair of muscles.

Lipids: Fat+oil Insulate/protect organs, Energy.

Place about to ml of the sample into a test tube and then add 5 drops of Benedictines stolon.

Heat with a Bunsen until it changes color do onto boil.

Complex sugar.

The, Breed turned black with the iodine so it is complex sugar.

The apple was positive and it changed color.

And the potato was positive so it changed color. So all of them are positive.

 Simple sugar:

The, egg was a Negative. and it did not have complex sugar.

glue go was negative.

the milk was negative.

We have used Benedictines reagent. for those 3 things.

This is one of the test for the Glue go and the other things we have Heated it up.

Res lutes:

Food:

Egg is negative.

Bread is Positive.

Milk is negative.

Potato is Positive.

Apple is positive.

Glue cos is negative.

Simple:

Egg is Negative

bread is negative.

milk is negative.

Potato is some.

Apple is Positive.

Glucose is Positive.

Complex:

Egg is negative. 

Bread is positive.

Milk is negative.

potato is positive.

Apple is positive.

Glucose is Negative. 

A Positive test for a simple sugar results in the Benedictines stolon change from a blue color to a red/orange color. 

Milk and egg positive

Apple potato, bread  and glue cos  negative.

Conclusion:  The conclusion was, We have got 4 out of 6 tubes right so the results was that 4 tubes were Right.. but 2 was negative.

Discussion: We, have found out is that we were comparing all of the test. so 4 out of 6 were Right why? because most of them are Protean and other things we have tested.

ppe Sgins

Hello, everyone welcome back to another blog post today I'm going to blog about, Our ppe signs we had to draw a ppe sign for metal work So I am going to show you my work. For the past week we have been trying to draw a ppe  sign so the teacher can buy the sign and put it in the work shop. So I hope you guys we enjoy my drawing it was a wee bit hard to draw it but in the picture it was about a Man wearing Face Protection in a work shop because you need to wear safety gear so you dont, hurt your self in the work shop so I am going to show you it.
